Prashant Gupta is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience in principal investments and leadership roles, building transformative businesses. As the Managing Partner of NEEM Partners, he is currently engaged in technology infrastructure, equipment financing, and gaming.
Prashant is the co-founder and a board member of Lancium, Inc. With the surging demand for AI-driven compute and data centers, Lancium is at the forefront of this transformation. As an energy technology and infrastructure company, Lancium enables large gigawatt-scale loads to integrate flexibly with the power grid. Recently, the company secured a strategic partnership with one of the world’s largest infrastructure investors.
He is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Torno Solutions, Inc., a company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT and AI solutions. Torno helps businesses navigate digital transformation, optimize operations, and drive sustainable growth through innovation and precision.
In addition, Prashant serves as the lead sponsor and a board member of dais, Inc. dais specializes in AI orchestration with built-in security and governance for enterprise-grade solutions. Its deterministic data security framework safeguards sensitive information while accelerating AI development and adoption, enabling innovation without compromising security.
Prashant’s educational journey began with his parents' immense personal sacrifices, allowing him to attend The Doon School, one of Asia’s most prestigious institutions. Excelling academically, he earned a full scholarship to Muskingum University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics, Accounting, Business, and German. He also minored in Mathematics and Computer Science while serving as the business manager of the university newspaper.
He later pursued a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, attending on a full scholarship. During his time there, he also taught undergraduate accounting courses at the McIntire School of Commerce.
A Certified Public Accountant, Prashant began his career at EY, spending six years specializing in hedge funds and broker-dealers. Between 2002 and 2013, he was a partner and Chief Financial Officer at a multi-strategy hedge fund, where he played a key role in growing assets under management from $40 million to a peak of $750 million.
Before founding NEEM Partners, Prashant served as the Chief Financial Officer of a Forbes 400 family office, overseeing a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio across hedge funds, real estate, and gaming. In this role, he was responsible for investment financing, deal structuring, accounting, audit, and taxation.
Beyond his formal education, Prashant is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has been awarded an honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters by Muskingum University in recognition of his distinguished career and achievements.
He is actively involved in public service, serving on the Illinois Advisory Committee of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. He is also a board member of Intonation Music, a Chicago-based after-school program that fosters personal growth and community engagement through music.
Prashant resides in suburban Chicago with his wife of over 25 years and their four children.
